Adam's Morgan came again this year and like last year where I blogged about the experience HERE, I went again! It was the perfect Sunday activity to do.
after a pleasant morning and a glorious nap in the afternoon I was ready to go. bright eyed and bushy tailed :)
upon arrival, a bit overcast, but warm and humid and looots of people
as expected, lots of interesting jewelry
a grocery delivery service I signed up for that partners with local farmers & all local grocery stores (Whole Foods, Safeway, Giant, Trader Joe's, World Market, etc etc and more independent suppliers) - more about this later
How could I not stop for this guy?! This contraption of an orange juicer was acquired in [i think] Sargodha Pakistan about 20 years ago when this man was serving (now a veteran) as a marine. He bought it at a market and this was actually the first time he was using it. It looked rock solid and I just had to get some of that fresh squeezed...
orange and grapefruit juice :p
a side street
FarEXP setting the crowd on fire on the Belmont stage - look them up! First time hearing them, but they were pretty good
jewelry and instruments from Nepal
as seen last year, cool reused license plates and stationary put to great use
this artist had some incredible photography installation. All are a 2 or 3 part series of related objects like this one of Rck/Paper/Scissors (goes for $700+)
bought a 3.oz tub of black soap and it does wonders on my face
buzzing but serene towards the end
bumped into some friends...
and made some new ones :)
closed off the night with a slice of pizza
Can you tell I had a fantastic weekend? Also watch these kids who melted with their rendition of karaoke'd Call Me Maybe:
Enjoy!
