I am in LOVE with her voice

Sara Mitaru. Love this girl's voice and the feeling she sings when she does. I found her when I was looking for some songs by Bez after falling in love with his That Stupid Song. I was intrigued to see he had a song with a female artist and a Kenyan at that (transcontinental collabos rock my world) so as it is unavoidable on Youtube I clicked on it. I love everything about this song, both their voices, the guitar and the lyrics. I could relate and visualize from memory or day dream all the places they spoke of. Check it out:

and when it rained o when it rained
i tasted your tears, i tasted your tears
The width of the Congo and the depth of the Nile
The depth of Victoria couldn't keep me from you
the heat of Sahara, the slope on Kilimanjaro
the guns in Sudan
they couldn't keep me from you

Yo! Geography references and a sultry deep female voice gave me life in this song. So for a while that's been the only song of hers that I knew until the other day when @kenyanpundit started tweeting videos from something called Nairobi Sessions. This girl, along with everyone else in the series is talented - goooo Kenya! Check it out:

Once again crispy smooth guitar and that voice! Even if you never had someone lie to you when listening to her you feel the crushing weight of deception yet it's upbeat enough for you to want to dance sway side to side in disbelief at how good it all sounds.

What do you think of Sara Mitaru?!
As for me i looove it all and i would actually love to buy her album and hear a lot more of her <3 p="">
