So apparently the world is supposed to end tomorrow the 21st according to something in the Mayan calendar as interpreted by some. That's in about 2 hours, but for some of you in other parts of the world it's already the 21st. I saw people tweeting from Australia, South Africa and Zimbabwe a couple of minutes ago so I am still waiting for it. It's all just another American farce and expert hype creation. There were news episodes and specials about it, happy hour specials and sales surrounding this auspicious event. We are incredibly silly. All of us. Those that are mad that pictures they put on a public forum, instagram [and facebook], precisely for the purpose of many people seeing and liking them, are going to be used for purposes they didn't necessarily consent to even more so. THAT is another conversation.
Anywhoo I had a good day and am about to go to bed. I would like to sleep early and wake up earlier than usual so with that I will bid you all aDieu and see you tomorrow insh'Allah :)
